Play a part in our General Election coverage!

We’re excited to announce one of our most significant broadcast series of the year—General Election coverage! This is an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of politics and media. Our programming will feature one-to-one candidate interviews, an engaging debate/townhall, and live coverage from the studio and the Count Centre.

With a general election on the horizon, we have fantastic access to elected officials. Our previous local election coverage was highly successful, connecting with listeners and engaging our online audience. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers who have an interest in politics, radio production, and want to gain live experience. Whether you’re interested in research, presenting, or creating social media content, there’s a role for you!

We’re also encouraging you to think about friends and family who might be interested and trustworthy to represent Phoenix FM.

Join us for a planning meeting on the 14th of October (Venue TBC) at 7pm, and let’s get started!

If you’d like to be involved in planning and executing our Election 2024 coverage, please express your interest by emailing us at elections@phoenixfm.ie as soon as possible.

Exciting times are ahead, and we can’t wait to work together on this!
