92.5 Phoenix FM were thrilled to return to ED3N Café on Blanchardstown’s Main Street for our latest D15 Today outside broadcast.
Opened in 2022, ED3N Café describe themselves as a “French-inspired patisserie with an Asian twist”. The café also has a beautiful interior “inspired by the Garden of Eden, a garden paradise God built on Earth.” We held our first outside broadcast at ED3N in August 2023 – listen back here – so we were delighted to be welcomed back. ED3N Café is also closely linked with the local Grace Abundant Filipino Community Church and community centre which similarly opened in 2022.
We spoke to a number of local Filipino community members and other D15 locals making a positive impact in the community.
From ED3N Café, we spoke to the manager Marzh Bulaclac about the café’s budding community and its connection with the local Grace Abundant church. Co-owner Czarinah Bulaclac shared her vision and future of the space and what that means for the Blanchardstown village community. Staff member Vivienne Yee spoke about the peaceful atmosphere and diverse customer base at ED3N.
Billy Linehan at Blanchardstown Tidy Towns, a regular guest here on 92.5 Phoenix FM, chatted about the group’s recent work in the community and the brilliant news that they will be leading this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade in Blanchardstown. This is always a key event in the Phoenix FM calendar so we’re excited to join the parade as always and wish all at Blanchardstown Tidy Towns the very best!
Finally, we spoke to some members of the Grace Abundant Filipino Community Church. Youth leader Calista Kuan discussed the diverse community in the church, and music co-ordinator Jeremiah Durano talked about producing music for their services.
