About the Show

Phoenix Blues

Oisin MacNamee’s Phoenix Blues is an award-winning programme which offers an eclectic mix of blues music, occasionally featuring something different such as rock, jazz, soul or reggae.

The programme provides a platform for a range of well-known and sometimes much less well-known exponents of the genre and provides detailed information about both artists and their songs.

Musicians from many different eras, sometimes as far back as the 1920’s, right up to the present are showcased and the audience can expect to be both entertained and informed by the passionate presenter.
