Noreen Byrne is a recently retired local resident, having worked in the community development sector in a variety of management roles for many years. She is a former Chairperson of the National Women's Council of Ireland and has served on numerous local and national Boards and Committees. In 2006, she graduated from UCD with a Master's in Equality Studies.
